I've already mentioned title of the book: " Don't Sweat the Small Stuff ", in commenting
Now, I decided to share it with all of you :)
I would like to recommend this book, as it contains short but wise pieces of advice on how to manage every day's life, which often is very stressful and overwhelming.
Don't Sweat the Small Stuff... offers 100 meditations designed to make you appreciate being alive, keep your emotions (especially anger and dissatisfaction) in proper perspective, and cherish other people as the unique miracles they are. It's an owner's manual of the heart, and if you follow the directions, you will be a happier, more harmonious person.
I've read it few times and keep coming back to it, a specially on those sad, difficult, hopeless days which comes from time to time...and it helps :) Enjoy !!!
There is more about the book in the link below:

P.S. If someone wants to borrow the book, is more than welcome to ask me for it...
blog, I guess.
I'd love to borrow this book! If it's possible, that is. :) Sweating the Small Stuff is my specialty, you know. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou got me ! That way you will find out who Queene is :) ... or you already know it?
ReplyDeleteI think I know :), but that wasn't the reason - you offered the book and I'd really love to read it; but if you'd rather I borrowed it someplace else, that's okay. :)
ReplyDeleteLizzy, pls. don't be silly. Of course, I will lend the book to you. I was just teasing you...
ReplyDeleteI loooked over this book yesterday and I would like to borrow it too (if you don`t mind of course). We all need this kind of books from time to time, they remind us of the most essential things in our life, that we forget about too easily. That`s life.
ReplyDeleteAfter Lizzy is done with it, the book is yours :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you girls got interested. It is really worth reading... You'll see.
Queenie, this book is fabulous! Just what I needed. I'm thinking of getting my own copy, because it's worth having on hand. I'll bring it back on Friday so that Daisy can have it.
ReplyDeleteBtw, do you mind if I call you Queenie? :) I should've asked before.
I'm perfectly all right with being called Queenie:)
ReplyDeleteIf goes about the book, there is also the practise book, which I'm also very fond of. Some exercises (mainly answering the questions after each chapter, doing the tests) helps you shape your character accordingly.
